Lost in Paradise (2026)
Sophia Tierra is the co-owner of Tierra, a high end fashion house known for its quality. While it had been successful, the company is stagnating with Sophia's business partner and ex-husband Mario threatening to sell his half interest before the company potentially tanks. Max is an accomplished chef whose current boss takes credit for anything Max puts out to their customers. Sophia and Max are the only two passengers on a private Los Angeles to Fiji flight, each trip to resurrect/save his/her respective livelihood. Max's free seat on the flight was due to the pilot being his friend Julian on what was originally supposed to be a deadhead to pick up Max's potential investor for his own restaurant. In what is unexpected inclement weather close to their destination, the plane goes down, with all four, the fourth being the co-pilot Lance, ending up stranded on what appears to be a deserted island. Knowing that a search for them may take longer than normal due to circumstances, Julian and Lance decide to try and make it off the island in the plane's life raft leaving city slickers Sophia and Max, and Sophia's lap dog Gianni, to fend for themselves on the island, they having to overcome the knowns of food/water/shelter/clothing and the unknowns of what may threaten their lives. On the surface being like oil and water, Sophia and Max find that they are more similar than not, each trying to discover/rediscover his/her passion in life. In making a connection with each other, Sophia and Max, if they make it out the other end alive, will discover if their connection was all potential end of life confessions or reality that would have happened if they met in better circumstances. —Huggo
