Four hundred years in the past, Reverend Fuller - one of the first settlers to arrive in America - descends into madness, murder and cannibalism whilst starving through a bitter winter in his tiny log cabin. Centuries later an estranged family gather to spend Thanksgiving at an isolated cabin on the same site, unaware that the Reverend's remains are somewhere beneath their feet.
