The Fatal Glass of Beer (1933)

Holed up in their weather-beaten, snow-covered log cabin in the frozen north of the Yukon territories, the virtuous Snaveleys try to eke out an existence. Pa Snavely works as a prospector, and his supporting wife, Ma Snavely, runs the farm; however, having no one to turn to, the Snaveleys lead a challenging and solitary life. Much to their disappointment, their only son, Chester, has left home to find work in the big city, unbeknownst to him that the remote, cold town is a temptress. Nowadays, Chester finds himself embroiled in crime due to temptation and excessive drinking. But, can a single glass of beer lead to a man's downfall?
